text by Rabbit:

"Recorded by exchanging files from a distance, "Give us back this martyr ..." is the new release from Stalsk, a project initiated in 2020 with the EP "Dreamin 'ghost" and bringing together two French experimental musicians, Philippe Neau, also a visual artist and formerly known as Nobodisoundz, and Innocent But Guilty (aka Apocalypse Sounds and the more beat-based alias Psychotic Kingdom), creator of the experimental music label Foolish Records with which IRM Netlabel is co-publishing this first proper LP. Brought together by their common taste for long progressions of dark and deeply textured atmospheres, the two musicians borrow from the movie "Tenet" the name of its abandoned Soviet nuclear base but especially its post-apocalyptic aesthetics of empty and devastated Siberian landscapes. Announced by by the track "D-Generative land" heard on the excellent compilation "Anti f: Orm volume 7" from Belgian label GodHatesGodRecords, the album is indeed a magnetic journey in foreign land, irradiated with throbbing drones and swarming field recordings, whose abstraction has become more cinematographic and futuristic but also more refined and strangely naturalistic, alternating crescendos of intensity, ballets of anaerobic harmonies and walks in the cracks of a musical ecosystem unknown to men."
